a bit about this blog

I’m lucky to be married to a guy who loves me despite my many faults. I’m blessed with the privilege of mothering three children. I’ve served as a paid staff and volunteer lay leader in numerous churches over the last 14 years. I’m passionate about figuring out ways to be more deliberate in my relationship with God. Though I suck at life, I’m striving to be better.

If you are interested in learning about ways clergy and volunteers can work better together, please visit my other blog site at www.movingthespirit.wordpress.com for ideas and resources. Though it’s in it’s earliest stages, I’m hoping to grow this by adding to it regularly…much more than I contribute to this blog.

I hope those reading this blog will engage in a conversation. Sometimes, it’ll just serve as an update to what’s going on my life (we moved to NYC so Mike, my husband, can earn his M.Div), so this will serve as a vehicle to keep those who love us informed). Though I’m sure much of my content will be rants, I’d like to have some good conversations about meaningful issues. I’m always interested in hearing others’ opinions in hope that my perspectives may shift slightly. I like to consider all points of views. Please share!
